So today marked the last day of the US World Team training camp at Pedro’s Judo club in Wakefield,MA. It was a tough but successful camp with the entire team grinding tooth and nail. I really enjoyed the training and got some quality mat time in with some fresh players. The end of the week brought some fatigue into my old bones but i think i finished strong. It was also nice to find a little time for some fun in between training sessions to take the edge off, including shooting a gun for the first time ever! Judo-wise, I feel GREAAAATTT and cant believe that i will be fighting in my 5th world championships in just 3 weeks. Its time for me to reap the reward for all my hard work and finally bring home some hardware at a worlds!! Stay tuned for updates as the date moves closer!
